New York Seminar

Since 1996, the International Peace Institute (IPI) has held an annual seminar on peace and security for the New York-based UN community. The IPI New York Seminar is designed to foster professional development and informal policy discussions among representatives of member states, the UN Secretariat and specialized agencies, nongovernmental organizations, and independent experts. Its objective is to deepen the expertise of participants on critical policy issues. The seminar also provides participants with an opportunity to compare different regional and national experiences and to develop closer professional relationships.
