IPI hosted a reception honoring H.E. Dr. David Malone, Canada's High Commissioner to India and nonresident Ambassador to Nepal and Bhutan, and Mr. James Traub, contributing writer for The New York Times Magazine. This event, organized in partnership with the United Nations University Comparative Regional Integration Studies program (UNU-CRIS) in Bruges and the Institute of European Studies of the Free University of Brussels, took place on the eve of the constitutive meeting of a new Standing Committee created in 2005 to help deepen and institutionalize cooperation between the United Nations and regional organizations (ROs).
