This report is a synthesis of the discussions that arose out of a conference jointly held by the International Peace Institute and the Lowy Institute for International Policy. Acknowledging an underrepresentation of Asian voices on the issue of UN reform, this report targets Asian concepts of security and sovereignty, traditional and nontraditional threats, and Asia’s future relationship with the United Nations.
